Random.
When I meet new people and they see me with my friends for the first time, they always ask why we speak English to each other often.
Here are some reasons why:
1. We like it.
2. For some in the group, it's more natural for them to speak english.
3. We like it.
4. We get to practice our vocab.
5. When we were younger, we didn't get asked for ID when we bought cigarettes.
People thinks it's weird and it's weird to listen to us speak, also because we have the tendency to switch between English and Norwegian.
Today I understood why.
I was on my way downtown when there were to girls behind me on the tram that was just talkin about random stuff. Suddently they just switched over to perfect English and I was like "whhaaaat?". Totally caught off guard and found it really weird listening to them switchin' back and forth. I guess I kinda got the taste of my own medicine.
Ah well. I got my mac back and have a lot of updating to do. So... if anybody's out there. I AM BACK IN BUSINESS and ready..kinda.. to post some stuff up.
BLÆH..
