FRIDAY.INNVIK.OPERA'N.SKEIVEDAGER.

My friend Ratih is back from Stavanger after being there for three years.
To celebrate we went on a date together with a friend of hers and her brother Wisnu to watch Pedro's show at MS Innvik, "En pluss en er ett". Too bad it was their last show 'cause I would recommend people to see it. Amazing how they can capture a moment, anger, intimacy, frustration.. just anything..

After the show we decided to visit the new norwegian opera house, "Det norske Opera & Ballett".There we realized that "Skeive dager" had already started!
At the same time they were celebrating the marking of the new marriage law. YEY!

A great day for Norway. Finally a country that has some sense in their heads.
I mean not giving gay couples the same rights as other couples will only make things worse for the kids. Because the children are already there. It's just their rights that are not. I just don't understand why people can't embrace the fact that we are all different and we like different things. Teaching others that people that are not of your "own kind" is bad will not help anybody. Spreading that kind of negative thinking will just make people more narrow-minded and ignorant to this wonderful place we live in. Nobody decides to be gay. They are born like that. They just don't like the opposite sex, just like I don't like the taste of beer, or how a dog smells after being out in the rain, or how Mike doesn't like vegetables, like Agz loathes buffalo shoes in 2008, like Chrisla hates plastic nails.. etc.

It really annoys me how all this poisonous thinking is passing on the kids. When they are so young, they don't know any better. And when they hear the same thing for 18 years or more, of course it's hard for them to think differently.

Damnit.. enough of the gay-topic. I could go on forever and it's too hard to put all these thoughts in to intellectual-sounding sentences.

Anywho, after going home, putting on some more clothes and eating I went downtown again to do a favor for Soulshock. Desiree and I passed out fliers for the "have to be 20 to come in" Fat Joe afterparty to "I am 14 years old and drunk" kids at VG Topp 20 at Rådhusplassen. Name & Karpe preformed.
